Akayo’kaki is intimate with the local and extended biome where he lives. He spends many days rescuing rattlesnakes and other synanthropes from disaster, injury, or obliteration.
His blog is excellent, and although it hasn”t been updated in a while, his youtube channel is, and has a wealth of information and perspective on human relations in and as nature. He teaches phenology; learning the living organisms and their relationships over time, directly, in any living place.
