Most people I know will »definitely preserve their vehicles over themselves, family, friends… almost anything. Vehicles… are more important than »really almost anything at all. And »most of the terrain where I live belongs primarily to cars. They are even housed at night… and often at great expense.

Cars surround the blocks in my city like mechanical viruses of enormous size. They ‘run’ our culture as if they were, themselves, some insidious force. Killing and poisoning… roaring and owning terrain… all day, every day, all nigh, every night. Our wars are vehicular wars for vehicular assets. Our nations are cogs, and our men cannot tell the difference between an object and a being.

Or rather, the way they ascertain this difference leads them to prefer the object.
