I published some of his work in an early issue of Cyanosis magazine. We met in Berkeley in the 90’s, and I remember an extremely spicy meal as he discussed his passion for the art of the Huichol Indians. An amazing man, mind and soul. He will live on in my own work, wonder, learning and activism. Wise ways, old friend, mentor… and angel.
