Most of what we call the old religions look too much like weaponized cultural viruses to ignore this fact. These were weapons of war developed and deployed intentionally by warring cultures in our developmental history.

It’s not a matter of paranoia or conspiracy. It’s about as obvious as the sun making light. The same reasons and beliefs that drove us to engineer stuxnet to attack Iranian reactor centrifuges? These are precisely the agendas of those who put together most of what we call religions. But it was a long time ago. We cannot remember this anymore, so we worship the deadly poison as if it is the nectar of eternal salvation.

The new religions use a different tactic, and we are unaware of the new strategies as moderns… and the victims of history were — but in ancient times… this was a matter of war.

Just as we create viruses to attack and co-opt resources that do not belong to us our our culture (or to accomplish military or political goals), they created religions to manipulate and destroy their enemies… not their machines however… their minds and cultures.

This is not conspiracy theory: weaponized religious narratives are not a common human production. And nearly all of our modern religions are thus. They are, effectively, mind viruses. Their function is not enlightenment or rescue: it is slavery, manipulation and resource domination.

Not to mention that… if there -was- a historical Jesus… it is my perspective that -no- modern religion would withstand her withering return. The Christians would be -the first- to crucify her… all over again. Yes, she might well come as a female. Just to show us how impossibly bigoted we (nearly) -all- still are. The people of the new age, after being told they have been acting very silly and inventing cults, would probably not be very pleased either.
