Take A Little

In grave comedic splendor a few fine angels shatter.
There isn’t any purpose for which our wars can matter.

Find me now the measure of how our days are severed.
Hot milk, when sweetly seized, is best quickly delivered.

Statues, drunk at dusk on silence and the light.
My fingers are blind animals of twilight’s perfect sight.
