Vocal music is human magic. Culture and machines are destroying our vocal music, (and changing our hearing) and we must understand that there is much more going on with ‘mere sound’ that we ordinarily imagine. Especially with the sounds of living beings. Here’s a visual toy of why that might be so. This looks imaginative — like too much is being added to the interpretation. It is a bit busy, and overly techno-toy like. I am nor particularly fond of or attentive to the techniques used. In any case, compared to the actual effects of sound on living minds? This is boring.
