I am not in favor of ‘human rights’, ‘gender rights’, or ‘animal rights’. What I favor -instead of rights- is the immediate establishment of relationally intelligent culture. See, in intelligent culture, you do not need ‘rights’ that you must then try to ‘protect’ or ‘defend’. The reason is that the culture is intelligent enough that no one needs to -dictate behavior to its members under threat- because they are mutually aware in profound and intimately linked ways.
If you -do not establish relationally intelligent culture- do you think ‘rights’ will help you?
You only get the -representation- *after* the actual animal is extinct, see? ‘Rights’ are a -representation- of humane, intelligent culture. If you need those, you need laws, and police, and soldiers and prisons and… and… and… anyone who cannot ‘afford to defend’ these ‘rights’ does not have them. Those are not ‘rights’. Get me? Those are -a long con masquerading as accessible social equality-.
[That said, it should be clear that I openly favor the establishment and pursuit of rights in cultures too backwards too evolve… but even in these cases we must simultaneously address the need for such rights by educating or reforging the cultures in question.]
