I always sort of saw the appearance of ‘veritable’ messiahs as a signal that Earth’s (and thus humanity’s) ‘network connection’ was being upgraded. As if we were ascending a developmental ladder, and, at various phase-leaps, this process would -generate- a human prophet capable of traversing the upcoming ‘bardo{ – gap – }’ in such a way as to insure that at least a small, highly inspired group are able to make the transit. On the other side, our species unlocks new features of the (primarily relational) treasures our heritage and evolution have hidden within our persons and social bodies. In many cases, this ‘twilight passage’, actually requires that the child-teacher is lost or killed. Of course, this is everywhere emulated, and rarely authentic… except… perhaps… in our own bodies and lives.
