It may well be that the experience of direct contact with something sometimes referred to as lOgOs represented the inception of the form of intelligence we experience as uniquely human. The real goal of the poet is not literary skill; it is to become a living vessel of LoGoS. loGos is not God or a Demon or even an Angel. logoS could be described as a transentient substrate enmeshed in spacetime.
