Anything that demeans women’s cultural and personal roles, or presents them as ‘rewards’, objects of gratification or the source of sinister seduction… attacks the basic personhood of human beings, and similarly reduces the roles of men to absurd representations of bias, stupidity, and the celebration of ignorance and hubris. The roles and projections of gender identity are intimately linked.
