Today, Australia is attacking the Great Barrier Reef. There are not too many issues on which I am shocked into silence. This kind of monolithic stupidity leaves me aching for violence. There is nothing I can easily say that will affect the situation. Soldiers should be defending that reef with their lives, because if there’s something worth protecting, that’s it.
