The continuum between reactivity, reflection and response is complex. Carefully managed, reactivity may grant me momentum, but at a price: insight. One cannot reflect forever, or so it seems, we must eventually act. Yet I suspect my reactivity for its hidden motives and sources, and thus prefer what feels more like response. This feels more open, free of the compressions and compulsions of my urges and urgencies… yet, perhaps not -completely- free… and in this, some balance arises which cannot be analyzed or enforced. This seems like a kind of flying compared to the cages of compulsion…
