Most of the public representations we revere are the actual corpses of what is true and valuable in ourselves and our relationships. In order for us to revere them, we must first lose contact with their transcendental sources in our minds, hearts, nature, living beings, and each other.

Were we to even momentarily inhabit and directly experience something like the nature we -are-, the overwhelming awe and momentum of this experience would immediately divest us of all interest the representations and replacements; we would realize we had been sold dolls of what we were stars of — and we would turn away from this as quickly as we might from trying to eat wooden toys of food.
