I accidentally discovered that a large portion of my linguistic thought (word thinking) is task-based in its form, paradigms, and structure. And I realized that I had never noticed this, and that it would have profound effects on my intelligence to do so, since I have long struggled under the burden of this kind of dominating paradigm without being conscious of it. The changes should be fascinating to observe. Almost all of my common verbal thought was task-oriented or task instigated. Interesting.
