They are using it like a hammer or a television, because they do not know any better. This platform actually comprises an unthinkably sophisticated transentient library access field. But they are using it to exchange cat pictures, fashion cult news, and pithy maxims.

Now the problem is this. The same thing has happened to their minds. Over time, as they became fascinated with the hyperbolization of organismal function that their technologies comprise, they stopped paying (a peculiarly urgent aspect of) attention to both nature, and their own minds. They didn’t notice that the pace of their technological advancement, which seemed to them precipitous, was vastly outstripped by the advancements in possible and relational intelligence in their own minds and nature. They actually forgot that the -source of every so-called advancement they made- was nature.

So they are still using their minds they way they use facebook. And as for nature? They don’t even understand that it is a platform for otherwise impossible intelligence. For transentience. It is a living library older than the universe.

So they burn it down to make, you know, charcoal. Like they do with their minds. This, they think intelligent. They also think machines will save them, and somehow make them superintelligent, when, in fact, it was exposure to machines that openly assaulted their minds, the basis of intelligence on earth, and the future of biological hyper-relation in this sector of time and space.

These animals are as confused as any they have laughed at. But because they are capable of being the developmental platform of distributed intelligence on earth, the tragedy has lost its humorous aspect and must be resolved, immediately.”
