“The use of psychic powers to talk to the dead, view remote places, and predict or influence future events is misguided, but interesting. What they are playing with is real, but their models of it are silly. And that’s a serious problem because this thing they are being silly about is crucially important not only to our survival as a species, but to our chance for development — especially as this relates to intelligence.

But what I want to get at here is this: you are ‘psychic’ and you can use this -not to make predictions and become famous- but to -connect intelligences beyond your own in constellations you can draw on as if they were your own mind-. And -that- is the -nature- of what all those people are calling psychism, magic, ‘the new age’, and so on. Don’t be ripped off. ‘What is going on’ has -nearly nothing to do with what they are advertising-. All of that advertising is an attempt to co-opt, distort, and take (financial and authoritarian) advantage of the related phenomenon.

These ‘changes’ are actually about intelligence, and how to assemble forms of it that have only rarely or never been seen on our world or in our species. Forms so advanced that they are unlike anything you have ever seen or heard of outside of your dreams. And not just with a person. With whole groups of people. With animals, with -the ocean-, with -the sky-. With a hive of bees. With nature herself. Without religion or cults of any kind.

These opportunities grant you access to membership in collectives unlike anything ever imagined, and the results of participation include otherwise inconceivable insights well-informed by powerful, nonhuman perspectives, heuristics and structural awareness. But they are dangerous. If misframed or misused, they become the opposite of opportunity; we are left with aggressive, parasitic traps that masquerade as wonder, learning, and advancement.

These opportunities comprise the lost birthrights of your human and natural incarnation. Don’t be sold fashionable cults in their place. Retrieve them. In person. Now.

Directly, personally, mutually — and do not soil them by adding dogma and cultish adornments. These assets neither come from nor survive the marketplace.”
