“You are a human being, but your cultures are alien to you. That’s the secret no one is telling you, and you secretly know this. Remember it. Use it. Do not be co-opted by sub-cultures who are really just the same thing dressed up to seduce you via your ‘unique’ ‘personal’ tastes and structure. Don’t be a vector, be a victor.
You can use the produce of the cultures carefully, to assemble novel assets more appropriate and powerful than any -available- human cultural asset or idea. And you can keep doing that, over and over again, each time radically extending the reach, novelty, inventiveness, and power of not only your intellect, but your -relational intelligence-, which comprises the lion’s share of ‘lost wings’ of your species’ developmental prowess.
Your cultures are not your friend. Do not follow them. Lead them.”
