So it goes something like this. Nature sets up fairly primitive processes to get things started, because getting things started and keeping them going is a delicate, difficult, crisis-fraught process for young planets, or any planet undergoing a sudden crisis. The more peril? The more you get developments that look like competition, in general. When things calm down, development begins to take on more cooperative embodiments.

Now, here’s what happened. There were a series of crises that produced a lot of competition. Then, there was a long phase of relative calm. That’s when your people arose. In the vacation wonderland between crises. You were an entirely new platform of life — capable not only of developing in ways and directions previously impossible… you could actually -invent new directions to develop in-. You are, in fact, the golden child of the competitions that produced you. But you have vastly misframed this to yourselves. Here’s what happened. You looked back on your source, in the Biblical sense of Lot’s wife, and you saw –conflict and competition- as the primary developmental forces. But you -didn’t see- the meaning of the contexts, or how those meanings -must reflect upon competition- in order for it to be understood.

Seeing competition everywhere, and proving it scientifically, gave you the ammunition you needed against your own developmental diversity. ‘Competition is the law of nature,’ your estranged experts demanded, and so you believed them. But the creatures of Earth competed not to bind you into eternal competition, but so that you could -surpass that mode- and in so doing usher in an entirely new world of possibilities -for all the life forms on earth-.

Instead, you attacked everything that moves, and most of what doesn’t, including your own relational and intellectual intelligence, and began competing with the shadows of your own -ideas- to assassinate yourselves and everything beautiful.

You got it backwards, Homo Sapiens. We gave you invisible wings with which you could ascend -beyond the stars-. You keep surgically ‘circumcising’ your wings to produce new forms of teeth and claws.

We wish to inquire: where is this dread enemy you are endlessly adapting to? Why have you forgotten what the mirror actually is and does? You pretend animals are not intelligent because they do not recognize themselves in the mirror, but you do not recognize yourselves in nature?

Which is the less intelligent? Can your scientists tell us?
