I sort of get it now. What it’s like when someone who is abusing you tells you it’s for your own good, and you know, you’ll come around, in time. It’s just that ‘you’re not seeing things right’. And ‘right’ means, you aren’t compliant with the abuse based on some romantic fiction. I get it. Really. I do.
