Our faculties do not exist distinctly as our language misleads us to imagine. Fundamentally, words like ‘intuition’. ’emotion’, ‘subconscious’ all refer to properties of awareness. So, too, the senses. So although we imagine we have all these little compartments, in reality, they are all one thing. Just like our bodies. The idea that we have parts is not really a fact. We are wholes, whose parts are conveniences of reference appropriate to the specific ways of knowing from which their nomenclature and purposes descend.
