“Now there is a way of understanding something that is like a dot. It is the difference between consciousness and none. Now, there is a self, a one. A point. And you will find the vast majority of people stuck here. At point. Dimension one. As you can imagine, a point cannot ordinarily convey much information. It is of some utility in comparisons and such, but it is not robust as an embodiment of relational intimacy or understanding.

Some, through luck, work, or accident, learn the first extension. Their understanding becomes to their priors as a line is to a dot. To such priors, still thinking in dots, those who had achieved line would seem possessed of inexplicable, almost god-like understanding. Conversely, to those who had achieved line, they who were still at dot would appear crude or immature, perhaps even trapped in a kind of cognitive infancy. Artists and scholars are commonly found here.

Much more rare are those who have extended line. This can be visualized in various ways, such as a cross. This gives vectored linearity that can produce complex patterns of lines and points together. The result is superhuman prodigy. Now, interestingly, we begin the life of our minds in a position close to this, but we move from there to dot as we enter and succumb to human culture, whose nature tends to convert us to assets, rather than assist our development directly. A person who achieves the extension of line would be capable of actual miracles that defied both the models and understandings of the prior positions. They would appear possessed of divine intelligence, or, at the very least, a divine aspect of intelligence.

The next extension is so radical that the result is nothing like human intelligence, and contains extensions and abilities that are nearly impossible to meaningfully refer to in modern languages. The result is an explosive form of liquid relational prodigy that could shape worlds or peoples as though they were clay. People would regularly be unable to retain consciousness in the presence of a person like this. They would have active hypnotic sway not only over people, but living places.
