What you have is a world full of people in every possible developmental phase. But above them, you have idiots who, like butterflies judging caterpillars, cannot see this and presume that everyone should have ‘already evolved’ to flight and nectar consumption. So they judge, punish and hate the caterpillars… which are, of course, their own history — and, more importantly, their future.
