I don’t want us to lose the benefits of reproducing behavior or insight. I want us to retrieve the benefits that are buried beneath the oppressive compliance demands of our cultures and social networks. These demands demean us, and would render us into replication vectors for ideas, forces and ways of thought that are toxic, but advertise themselves as glorious or even profound. These ‘methods existing as people and groups’ have the power to field incredibly sophisticated techniques of indenture and dominance. I want us armed and armored against those forces, for only then may we discern the difference between an offer of learning and one of conversion.
