All of the ‘powers’ we imagine to be ‘psychic’ or ‘metaphysical’ are actually just the common results of active intimacy, coupled with the emotional profundity that signifies deep relation. There are no powers. There is only intimacy. And if we pretend otherwise, this warps the results in ways that must become lethal when instantiated in and as human cultures.
