Learning means correcting, developing, and transforming thoughts and ideas. Toward greater beauty, accuracy, and efficacy. Declaring them is most often the opposite of that; but we must note that the task of declaration invokes the careful development and examination of ideas, so there is no certain rule. Finally, however, the strange demand that others adopt one’s favored static fetishes of thought, value, identity or meaning… especially as literal, is the sargasso sea of human intelligence. There we languish, fail, and rot.
