Our wisest choices will rarely involve opposition, which is costly, and often fails completely. They will, instead, involve inspired improvisation on the themes, contexts, histories and ideas involved in whatever we might otherwise have opposed. The goal is the establishment of freely adopted methods, responses, and opportunities which so vastly exceed the offerings of the opposed or the opposing that the polarity dissolves into its rightful future whose direction is not conflict but developmental excellence and whose demonstrations are not war, but wonder — and, on common occasion, joy.”
