“Making new laws makes new criminals, and new victims. If you want to control violence by eliminating something in your culture, go after stupidity, not guns. Your basic culture is so incredibly ignorant that it keeps generating atrocity from within. Instead of addressing this directly, you just make laws that punish the people who express the poison your culture produces. This is like your body attacking the cells that announce you are sick. If your body did what your cultures do, you’d be dead in a week. So if you want to affect your culture by creating access inhibitions or technology controls what you want to inhibit access to is stupidity, not objects. You should eliminate your media, almost entirely, nevermind the objects it glorifies and conveys into common human relation, reaction, and thought. There is no weapon more toxic than your media. Remove that, the problem disappears. Pretend otherwise? It will grow by leaps and bounds, feeding upon you, your children, and your future. That’s what a signal that -you are doing something deadly- does. You can’t change that, and even if you could, you wouldn’t want to.”
