Our technologies are not only changing our minds, bodies and abilities, they are changing our purposes… to those that most generally match the necessary propagation of such technologies… and as our purposes change, we can no longer really remember what it was to be ourselves. The structural changes in our perception and perspective hide both their results and their real effects.

This is part of the ‘price’ of our burgeoning relationship with representation, images, and technology in general. Mediating the damage will be part of the legacy we bequeath to the survivors.
