The more important a subject or topic is, the more care and attention one must pay to avoiding habitual delusions and misapprehensions … and not merely about the matters at issue… but in the purposes and language of the entire inquiry. Thus, when you see someone playing fast and loose with something like physics theories or maps of spiritual domains, you want to stop right there and make a vast adjustment to your method of proceeding. A narrative or description has -nearly nothing- to do with what it points to. Forget this, and you’re lost in a storm of suppositions masqurading as facts. Or worse still: gods.
