That stuff that we do with acting crews, music groups, dance troupes, and other similarly tightly-knit mutual amplification examples (generally involving high creativity, ecstatic pulses, and other similar examples of direct experiential access to a transcendent moment and relation)… is supposed to happen ambiently, with our intelligence. And not for the sake of art.
Why is it that the most sublime and powerful aspects of our intellectual and heuristic nature are consigned to peculiar academic isolates and art collectives? Or enslaved by the prison-military-industrial complex to produce new forms of horror, torture, and death… in the name of a progress which can only be another segment in a long history of omnicidal confusion.
Why is the intelligence that attends and directs the most crucial aspects of human social and ecological development comparatively psychotic? Why do we have rock bands but not intelligence bands? Small, tightly-knit ‘players’ each flamboyantly expert in their own unique senses and expressions, activating and calling their peers into the deepest pursuits of human understanding and excellence for the sake of each other and our world. Is that really so difficult to understand or accomplish given the incredible and actually incomprehensible monuments to stupidity and rape that reign sovereign in the place of such a simple and natural way of becoming human together?
It’s not. In fact, it’s accessible, contagious, and more like us than what we are doing. Try some. It’s free. You brought it with you. Never mind famous people. Fame and those modes of success are tedious compared to what you brought with you. Get some. It’s the real thing, and you can’t buy it.
