Even simpletons should realize that one never gets there. The goal, in fact, is to pursue, not arrive — and the key to prodigy is finesse and creativity in the pursuit.

We might say that one triangulates upon the last known position of the truth, and then makes a series of strategic leaps, inspired leaps… leaps that happen in dreams and reveries. The seeker thus achieves a position ‘more generally and more specifically akin to the truth’.

From there? Repeat the process, with greater acuity and finesse. Proceed. Do not cease; and nevermind congratulations, the starting flag fell with your first breath. The race doesn’t end at death.

Anyone who wants to ‘tell you the truth’ had confused the goal with something attainable. It never was and cannot be, for the truth is a way of proceeding, and that way is fast, deep, ancient and impossibly exquisite.

One can never catch up… it is developing by virtue of the effects of one’s very efforts to chase it! Nevermind having the truth… have a rapidly evolving set of modes of pursuing it.

And those who believe they have it? Be gentle with them. But do not join them in their delusions.

Even this is not the truth.
