If our species paid half the attention to developing our intelligence and coherent senses of purpose that we do to developing technology, not only would we resolve or ameliorate many of the catastrophic problems that emerge from our fear, covetousness, hubris and myopia — we would also be able to produce vastly superior technology within more sustainable paradigms.
