In our bodies, strange things happen to cells. Under certain conditions, they refuse the common signal to die, and undergo a malevolent transformation in which they form aggressive aggregates of functionally immortal cells which feed furiously at the trough of the body’s metabolic resources and spew toxic waste into the bloodstream. It’s effectively a group of cells who decide that the body should perish in order to support their luxurious immortality. And so too, should all the other forms of cells.

And I think earth has cancer. We call this problem ‘cities’.
