DNA and the environment are mutually informing aspects of a unified system of biocognitive memory, forms that include behavioral and relational streams. Place, is a form of metamemory, that feeds back into beings, who inform and are informed by it.

Is there a third force? A transcendent intelligence ‘floating upon the biorelational substrate’ and both informing and being informed by it? Nudging evolution in specific directions? There may be more than one. Might not language be evidence of historical interaction with such an entity?
