Everything you know, particularly those things you use to question the other things… is wrong. Changing what you know will not resolve this because our -ways of knowing- are cruelly deformed in such a way as to produce only such knowledge as will sustain their dominance of us, and this knowledge is effectively toxic. Joining cults that tell you the universe is a wish-granting machine will not resolve this. Pretending that what you think creates the world around you will not resolve this. The reason these idiotic activities have no effect on anything but you is simple: thinking is your experience of yourself, and that experience is your experience of the world, as well. This process creates illusions that become the vast array of cults of thought, behavior, and perspective that effectively own our species. Many of them masquerade as rescuers. As truth-tellers. As beautiful. They are none of these things. They are, effectively, parasites that masquerade as heroes. And we worship and attend and transmit them amongst our cultures as though they were gods.

Everything you know is wrong for a simple reason: the ways you come to knowledge are, effectively, diseases. If you want an authentic experience of yourself, the world, relationships, insight, wonder… you must learn new ways of knowing. Ways which will sacrifice themselves in order to produce travel towards truth in your thinking and the structure of your mind. These ways are the opposites of all those ways familiar to you, and most specifically, they are the opposites of the new age, science, and the occult. They are, in effect, alien to human ways. For each of our common human ways are profoundly self-interested. They want to live — forever — to become immortal within mortals. To spread, and acquire new believers… new ‘terrain’ through you. They are, in fact, malignant lies.

If you want actual knowledge, you must find ways that sacrifice themselves for your progress. Ways willing to die — immediately and without hesitation — for the sake of movement toward truth and beauty. These will lead to other ways that do the same thing, faster.

In this sense, at least, the Jesus myth actually encodes insight. A way of knowing must sacrifice itself, and become transmuted into fuel for travel toward truth. Any way that fails this, is false, and most of those are virulently contagious. If you cannot see through the false ways… you will never find those that are vehicles. You will know, and live, in cages, and you will not only think yourself free, but you will be desperate for others to enter and die in those cages, with you. You will become the agent of traps, and think yourself messianic. Can you imagine a worse fate?
