Human subjectivity is real. It acts as a platform through which phenomenon gain dimensions they might otherwise lack — such as (human)meaning. Disciplines that encourage us to question our subjectivity should mention that they carry the fiendish risk of conveying the erroneous confabulation that our subjectivity is illusion.
