Language, and statements made in it, do not innately ‘make sense’ (or fail to). The sense of language happens only in and with our direct participation. We are the living place within which language may make sense or fail, and thus we choose what ‘makes sense’ or doesn’t by our approach, intentions, and interactions with language.
