The more accurate apprehensions of ‘the identity’ of the things, beings, processes, relationships and circumstances we are immersed in have nearly -nothing- to do with the human models of them. If you believe human stories about ‘what’ the Sun, the Moon, the Earth, Animals, Trees or even humans are… you are not even on the same playing field with the phenomenon in question.

Further, the cults that spring up to ‘rebelliously re-define’ these to us are at least as deeply confused, and often even more absurdly misled. Leave the models to those who want to sell them. They’re useful as a sort of handhold for awareness, but the likeness between them and what they represent largely stops there. The goal isn’t to learn what others think or believe about identity. Or to join their social order. The goal is to get a direct contact experience, personally, with and of these phenomenon. When you do, you will probably realize that even the most ‘advanced’ of your thoughts and theories were so cripplingly primitive as to comprise, essentially, cognitive injuries.

I therefore suggest that you use the names and representations only as handholds for recognition and distinction. Get a direct living experience of these phenomenon, and expand from there through direct personal inquiry and exploration.

The universe around us makes our wildest religious and fictions appear like models made of painted matchsticks. Don’t believe the underHype. Taste the sky, yourself, in person. Talk to the Sun. Learn the languages that allow you to directly communicate with insects and flowers.

And bring a diaper… because you’ll probably end up needing one.
