Until we remember and have the direct experience of reading ‘the living books’ of the living universe, the dead books will continue to compete for our attention, reproduction, worship, storage, transmission, and dominance. A world of dead books is a world of dead children. We must retrieve our birthrights as living beings, and depart from the incessent domination of representation, which was meant to be an ally to our intelligence and relational prodigy, not a demonic replacement for it.
