There are important implications here that may be easily overlooked.

We understand communication as -=the sending and reception of messages=-. This is an ‘individuals care to share information’ model.

But this study implies that something else, and something possibly more important, is actually going on: the mutual creation of a ‘third’ shared domain, in which meaning emerges not from the signals sent and received… but from their integration.

Reminds me of the hemispheres…
