More and more it appears that our world is being divided between two hungry monsters.

One of them has no faith but in (a kind of twisted relationship with) reason. The other abhors reason altogether, thinking themselves ‘the faithful’.

Both of these polarities inhibit our intelligence, reduce our humanity to a cartoon, and leave us with uninhabitable cultures.

These paths suck.
