One wonders how many ignorant parents fail to realize that the feedback controllers of video games are priming their children to respond to violence with arousal. You kill. It vibrates. Different ways, for different kills. The vibration is powerful, and stimulating. It often happens in your lap.

So, essentially, although it’s not an absolute, these devices physically associate violence with alternating experiential weaves of of frustration and sexual pleasure. These emotions are highly compressed, and delivered like a drug, for the extent of the experience.

If you think I’m making this up, just try it.

Now, for an adult, this would be toxic. But for a child or teen, whose developmental speed and plasticity are radically magnified… let’s just say that only an idiot would conduct such an experiment.

Or a corporation. Or, perhaps, a government.
