In the material world, magnetism is an invisible force, drawing two polarities into relation. This force is the basis of local physical directionality, and we move bodies in space according to its metrics. Along with the stars, it forms one of the keys to navigation.

In the divine world, love serves this purpose. Its ‘direction’ is always new; lying in a different vector-space than each previous moment. But, like the North and South poles of the magnet, it draws two polarities into relation, and in so doing, becomes the basis of the soul’s direction in a mode of space which was never physical, and has no stable landmarks…
