Living beings cannot become things except by murder or language. As children and adults struggle to fit into and function as terms — words — we are being destroyed. When compelled to wear labels and ideas like costumes, we become confused and mistake ourselves for terms. Modern cultures are a-broil with this relationally fatal toxicity. We are enslaved by dead language, dictated by invisible authorities.
