Would that the purported ‘teachers’ of spiritual insight could empower students who would vastly surpass them, instead of generating cultures of followers. New cults represent a catastrophic loss of our opportunities for growth. Humanity could really benefit from some training in how to acquire and nurture original insight — instead of parroting the reports and insistences of talking heads.
