The mice who come here teach me — and I them. The process is serious, and deeply intimate. The 20 hrs spent dealing with mice in the past year, could easily have been 30 minutes. Buy kill traps, set them, dispose of corpses. Instead, I have, at some personal and real expense, become their student. I catch and release them. And they, in turn, learn from me. That’s what being alive is about: learning together.
