The US isn’t defunding crucial education, health care, and social programs because there isn’t enough money. That is actually impossible. No, what is happening is that war, toxic commerce, prisons, ‘security’ and other aggressively self-aggrandizing and parasitic socio-political possibilities have won the day. Which means, essentially, from now on their costs come -directly- from our bodies, lives, and children.
