Before we are trained to use language or employ knowledge we should find ourselves in the common presence of finely developed minds who we might emulate in developing our own. If we have no such model or training, the tools which would otherwise assist us are inclined to become themselves pernicious, competitive, and, indeed, toxic to the development of our intelligence, perception and awareness.
