The seeming ‘poisons’ which kill off aspects of my vulnerability to mimetic predators — parasites in complex masquerade — are often painful to experience. The infection and the urge toward my habitual responses run deep. But in the end, after the ordeal, my access to beauty is quickened, as is my capacity to discover and proceed with what and who I was becoming prior to conversion.
