Aleph redux: I now think that I captured Aleph; she was a young mother. The remaining individual(s) would be her too-young-to-forage-far-from-the-nest spawn. I cannot imagine there is only one. So one or more appear in the crack in the cupboard, waiting for their mother to return. They avoid the food in the trap, but will take the food I leave outside it. It now looks like I must feed her kid(s), to the degree I can.
